Let’s adventure together!
Hi, I’m Ambyr. I’d love to share with you a little about what’s brought me here today.
I’m originally from Omaha, Nebraska. I grew up with kind and feminist parents, who raised me to use my voice and presence here on this earth for things that bring people joy. I moved to New York City to attend a musical conservatory, and after a few challenging years, both in training and in my personal life, quickly made my way to the wellness world. I’ve spent the last 15 years teaching yoga, training teachers, leading retreats, and consulting for some of the world’s top spas and wellness facilities. I pay attention to details, have an excellent memory, and really love to hold space for people’s hearts.
Starting in 2012, I began officiating weddings for my friends, who wanted something different for their ceremony. Something that was very much them, but that would still make their families happy. From here, my passion for weddings was born! The past several years I’ve been invited to host, plan, design, and officiate many more weddings. I also lived in an incredible brownstone where we were able to create magical and intimate weddings, right in the heart of Brooklyn.
I bring what I’d like to call, a stress-less approach to wedding planning and design. Honestly, planning a wedding is like a second job, emotions and finances are involved, and I think it would be silly for me to tell you that I can take all the stress away for you. However, I do feel completely confident in my ability to create meaningful time together, not only during the ceremony, but during the planning stage as well. I love to break down things for each couple, and find creative solutions and moments for more connection during every step of the way.
I want the weddings I do to be inclusive and joyful. I am a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and recognitions. My family is Catholic, Muslim, and Hindu, so in what ever way love has brought you together, I’m sure it’s something I can get on board with.
I look forward to meeting with you.
